today, on 26th of February 2017. the hortiefoundation visited an orphanage center which is know as NEW HOPE FOR GIRLS ORGANISATION. its located at Ilala dixtrict, tabata. this orphanage has a total of more than 150 girls, in which some are in primary level and others are in secondary level.
orphans are part of the community and most of the time we forget that they are important in the communities we live, and they need a great attention and care including material support, guidance and proper care in order to prosper in their lives.
hortiefoundation in their visiting today they provided different materials for the children in which in one way or another will help them in their daily life including in studies. we provided exercise books, pens, pencils, soaps, clothes and maize flour.
also we provided some medications for worm infections, which will help the children to strengthen their health
there are so many vulnerable children in the community, so great attention is needed so as to prevent them from malnutrition, infections and growth retardation. so as to accomplish all this, hortiefoundation will be doing this kind of outreach continuously so as to create a future society which is free of malnutrition and infections.
